Army Of Zero Rule Variants
Here are our first official Army Of Zero rule variants. You can play with any number of these variants at the same time, so try mixing and matching for a fresh outlook on the game.
The Champion VariantInstead of organising your squad as a stack, hold all your characters in your hand. Before each combat, select the character that you want to play and place it face down on the table. Both players then flip over the character cards, and those two characters face off against each other as usual. When the combat is over, and at least one character has been defeated, any surviving character returns to the hand of the player who laid it down. In the following round, you can again choose any character from your hand, including, if you wish, the same card that you played in the previous round. When one of the players has no characters left, the other player is declared the winner. |
The Skirmish VariantPlay a shorter game by dealing out five cards to each player, instead of the more usual ten. |
The Carnage VariantFor shorter, deadlier battles, play with 8-sided dice rather than the normal 6-sided ones. |
